Interactive Courses

How do I enroll in an interactive course?

To enroll in an interactive course, refer to the menu on the left. Select the certificate or course you wish to purchase, and check out. Once you have completed your purchase, you will immediately receive an email containing your login information so you can begin taking your course(s). If you registered for multiple courses at the same time (in other words, for a certificate), you will have access to all of your courses at the same time for two years (730 days), depending on the certificate. We recommend taking one course at a time.

What is included in an interactive course?

Interactive courses are designed to simulate a classroom experience. They include high-quality video of each lecture, thorough study notes, required reading, student discussions, interaction with a course facilitator and other students, graded quizzes and tests, and required corporate prayer time.

When are the courses available?

You can begin a course at any time and work through the material whenever it is convenient for your schedule. If you register for an individual course, you have six months to view the lectures and complete all assignments for that course. On multiple-course certificates, you have up two years (730 days) to complete all of your courses. You have the freedom to work at your own pace and time within this time frame.

May more than one person take an interactive course through a single registration?

No. Because you can apply to transfer these courses towards IHOPU credit, students must view the courses and complete their assignments individually.

Can I copy the course material?

No. While, the lectures and the notes available for download and are yours to keep, they are only for your personal use.

How do I receive IHOPU credit for the courses I take?

We will retain a record of each interactive course you complete and your final grade. If you decide to apply as an on-campus IHOPU student, mention that you have taken eSchool interactive courses on your IHOPU application so that you can apply to receive credit for the courses you have completed. Transfer of credit from the eSchool to on-campus study at IHOPU is subject to the student's successful application to IHOPU and the approval of the IHOPU registrar.

Enrichment Courses

What is included in an enrichment course?

Each audio or video course offers over twenty hours of lectures, course notes, a textbook recommendation list, and links to other helpful resources.

How long do I have access to the course material?

You will be able to access each course for six months from the time of registration.

Can I copy the course material?

No. While the lectures and the notes available for download are yours to keep, they are only for your personal use.

May more than one person take an enrichment course through a single registration?

Married couples and immediate family members may take an enrichment course together on a single registration. All others must register individually.

Group Study Courses

What is included in a group study course?

Group study courses consist of 24 to 28 DVD teachings, each lasting 40 to 60 minutes, as well as a disk of PDF versions of the printable course notes and suggested course curriculum. Your package of materials is shipped to your address.

An online group study course contains the same content but teachings, material, and discussion groups are accessed online.

What do I need to facilitate a group study course in my area?

Gather a group of people interested in the course you are offering and choose one person who is willing to serve as the facilitator of the group. Group study courses are suitable for both small and large groups. You will need a way to print and copy the course notes.

If your group study will be online, the course facilitator will purchase the course and then provide a link for other group members to pay their part of the tuition.

We encourage those who are thinking of offering a course from IHOPU at their local church or house of prayer to consider advertising the course to the surrounding community in order that many more may benefit.

What format are the DVDs in?

DVDs are in NTSC format. If your DVD player is in PAL format, it must also be able to support NTSC video (many do). DVDs are not region-specific, so they work in DVD players around the world.

Do you offer discounts or scholarships?

We offer discounts and/or scholarships to those who are in lower socio-economic regions across the globe. Because the vision of IHOPU is to equip the Body of Christ in every region of the world, if you are in a region with a lower socio-economic status and think you may qualify for a discounted price, please email us at eschool@ihopkc.org for more information.

Can I copy the course material?

The lectures, notes, and curriculum are designed to be used by a group, so they may be duplicated for the use of the group. However, we ask that you only copy materials for the individuals in the group taking the course. Please do not duplicate the DVDs. Mike Bickle's personal copyright policy, "right to copy," does not apply to eSchool materials. If you intend to charge a local fee for individuals taking the group study course, we ask that you send 10 percent of the course income to IHOPU eSchool. Please email eschool@ihopkc.org for more information.
